Look what I caught him doing now! Savannah had no clue he was there until she heard me gasp and then looked where I was looking. Again, can you see the proud look on Willson's face. Mason thought it was great he could still play with Willson even though he was in the backyard. Baby boy is way too adventurous for me!

Talent
I was helping the girls clean their room today. Savannah was under the bed making sure everything got out from under it. This was her clever way of removing the crayons she found and handing them to me. The Williams family is know for their "finger toes", so I'm guessing she inherited that. What talent!

I actually made my bed today. I don't understand why something so simple is so easy to forget or choose not to do. I'm also surprised how happy this simple act makes me feel and how it spreads to the rest of my day. Every time I walk past I feel good. So, why don't I choose to do it everyday? I have a few friends with pristine clean houses. I'm never going to be like that. I accept that about myself. Would I love it? Heck yeah. Do I care enough to ensure it? Nope. My house is clean but not pristine. But, this one simple thing I can do can help me to be happier, more patient and feel better about myself. Why would I ever not make it? So, that's my new goal. Something proactive I can do to make life easier.

YouTube
So, we finally got a new monitor, so now I can actually see what I'm typing or reading.
We were playing around and found this hysterical video from Erasure.
Also, Flight of the Conchords, so funny.
Check them out for a good laugh!

I'm Shia LaBeouf
So, I have a huge crush on Shia LaBeouf (Disturbia, Transformers), I know I'm too old for him. The joke in our house is that he is my boyfriend, if I was 10 years younger. One of our favorite games to play, especially when I am really tired, is "Dead". Whoever is "dead" lays on the floor and pretends to be dead until their "true love" kisses them to wake them up. There are several people I'll wake up for, including all the kids and Andy. When Delaney got her ears pierced a couple months ago, she became "Delaney with earrings". So the kids, or me depending on who's dead, will go through our list of names (i.e. "I'm Daddy", "I'm Savannah"...). One day I was "dead" and I was waiting for Willson to "wake me up", he only plays sometimes. He's still learning. The kids were going through all the names, not knowing I was waiting for Willson. I couldn't tell them because I was dead. So Savannah says "oh, oh, say Shia LaBeouf" so Delaney leans over
me and whispers "I'm Shia LaBeouf" then kisses me. Now when the correct name is said you suddenly "wake up" and say "(the name), my true love." This was not the name I was waiting for, but I had to wake up for it! I think I laughed for about 10 minutes. So, now Delaney will only "wake up" to Shea LaBeouf. I've tried so many other things, but nothing works anymore. I still giggle every time I have to tell her "I'm Shia LaBeouf."

Thanks!
A big thanks to my parents, Grandma, and Andy's family. Thanks for the money and gift cards that were sent for my Birthday and Christmas. Here's what I bought! Grandma Jean, thank you for the cute birthday boots (famous Fred Meyer boots) and the Books for Christmas (I had to have Twilight in Hard cover, to match the set). Mom & Dad thanks for the set of Birthday Goblets, now used as my everyday drinking glasses. and the cute clothes for Christmas. Andy's family, thanks so much that we can all ride together as a family with the addition of my bike and Willson's trailer. Love you guys!
Andy made me join Facebook. I don't get it. He's tried to describe it to me, but I still don't get it. Apparently I've given in to peer pressure because "everyone is doing it". Don't know what will come of it. I didn't get the blog thing at first either, but now I get it and like it, so maybe Facebook will be the same. We'll see.

Willson
Willson has a new trick. Not totally happy about it, but he's pretty proud of himself (you can see it in his face)! He can get up on the couch all by himself and actually spent most of the day on the couch! The bad part is we're afraid he's going to take a header onto the brick hearth. We now also have to keep the blinds open so that he doesn't ruin them.
Willson has also started biking with me. Yesterday was his first time in the trailer. I thought he would love it, but he hated it! He was crying almost the whole time. Apparently his helmet kept falling in his face, so I had to stop frequently to adjust his helmet. We were riding with Laney, so I was able to stop and adjust his helmet, then I didn't have to turn around and ride back as much as I would have. The last time I adjusted his helmet, we were almost home, he looked up at me and said "Done" I told him we were almost home and then he was fine. Today when I took him out he did a lot better. He only cried once and was actually babbling at first while we were riding.

Thank you Best Buy!
We got a new computer today! Hooray! Our old one died and we've been trying to resuscitate it, quite unsuccessfully, but we finally decided enough was enough. Best Buy saved the day! We found out later that the monitor we thought was good actually was not. Luckily we have an old one that still works. We can't wait for our tax refund so that we can get a new monitor too.
Willson has some new words. This morning when I went to get him out of his crib he was feeling cranky. He batted my hands away when I tried to pick him up, twice. So I said "Well, do you want to get up or not?" His response was "Yeah" in a whiny, quivering voice. It was so cute. He also said "kisses" for Andy today. So sweet!

Home
We managed to make it home only missing one thing...my favorite orange shirt. Not only do I love the style, color and fit but I only paid $4 for it at a super Target sale. I will be very sad if it doesn't turn up. My mom is usually pretty good at finding things, much better than I am. Come back to me favorite orange shirt!
We had so much fun in CA. We were so busy. There were so many family activities planned and it was so great to see everyone, from both sides of the family. We're sorry we didn't get to see everyone we wanted to, we just ran out of time.
Willson fell in love with his Uncle Jon, my baby brother. I think the feeling was mutual though. One morning I was sitting on the floor playing with Willson and someone said Jon. Well, Willson proceeded to tell me a story all about Jon. It was a bunch of gibberish with a few Jons thrown in and some laughing. It was so cute!
My parents, my Grandma, Andy and Delaney have started a campaign to move back. I told my parents that the offer still stands, we'll give them $80,000 for the house. They weren't impressed, so I made them another offer. I said that they could convert the garage and live there and we'll take the house. They didn't go for that either. When I mentioned it in front of my Grandma she didn't understand why they were hesitating. She did want us to put up a Tough Shed in the backyard for her. Now my brother, who still lives at home, wasn't privy to the conversation, so we made arrangements for him too, he gets to move out! My mom couldn't be prevailed upon, she's usually the softie, so we came back home to Washington.
It's so nice to be home again! I have a love affair with my own bed. No other bed compares! Now I just have to complete the task of unpacking. Ugh! That's the worst part of vacationing. It's even worse than packing. When you're packing you're excited to go on your trip, but when you're unpacking you're glad to be home, still tired from the trip and halfway wishing you were still on the trip. If only you could take your own bed on vacation. I'd be in heaven!
I just realized this is the longest blog I've ever written. I guess I had a lot to say. CA rocks, but it's good to be home.

I'm on Vacation!
We surprised the kids by going on vacation to California. We didn't tell them till the morning we left for the airport. They were so excited. They've had lots of fun playing with grandparents and cousins. Andy's been awfully sarcastic and funny since we left and any time I call him on his sarcasm he says "What? I'm on Vacation." That's become our new joke. Any time we get in trouble for saying or doing something we say "I'm on Vacation." My parents have even started saying it. Andy was cleaning up last night and my dad said "Stop doing that. You're on Vacation." We're having so much fun!

Happy New Year!
Andy wasn't able to make it home last night, the pass is closed right now, so I has a little party with the kids. We had BBQ pulled pork on toasted baguette, celery with peanut butter, carrots with ranch, yummy spread bread and ginger ale. We were supposed to have bean dip, but I forgot to make it. I knew we were missing something when we went to eat, but couldn't think of what it was. So, we decide to have leftovers with bean dip for dinner tonight. We went Christmas puking one last time for this year. We weren't able to get pictures before now because of the snow. So as not to offend any one's style of lighting, we've chosen our favorite most beautifully decorated houses. Here they are...
